希拉•希尔 retired from 奥古斯塔 Technical College in 2022 after 25 years of service. 她
truly worked her way up at the College, starting as a work study student. 她加入了
professional staff as an Accounting Technician for the 汤姆森 site. 她前进到
Assistant Director of Accounting and then Director of Accounting before eventually
being appointed Vice President of Administrative Services. As Vice President, she
oversaw the College’s financial operations, human resources, and facilities.
When 奥古斯塔 Tech President Terry Elam retired, 夫人. Hill was named Interim President
in the middle of the global pandemic. 她 successfully led the institution until the appointment of Dr. Jermaine Whirl as the new President. 她 is the only graduate of 奥古斯塔 Tech to also serve as the school’s President.
As a student at 奥古斯塔 Tech, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. After completing the Associate of Applied Technology in Accounting at 奥古斯塔 Tech in 1997, 夫人. Hill enrolled at Brenau University. 在那里, she was listed in Who’s Who Among 学生 in American Colleges and Universities and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. 她 graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. 她 then earned a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Troy State University.
夫人. Hill later completed the Governmental Accounting State Financial Management Program at the University of Georgia as well as the Technical College System of Georgia’s Vice Presidents of Administrative Services Leadership Training Academy.
夫人. Hill has been married for 44 years. 她 has two sons and four grandchildren. 她 also serves as a Stewardess at Mt. 奥尔德CME教堂.
